TRIBECA — A new pub reportedly planned by British director Guy Ritchie, may get snatched away if TriBeCa residents frustrated by the area's glut of pubs and restaurants get their way.

The former Mr. Madonna could have problems obtaining a liquor license after angry residents sounded off during a community forum with the New York State Liquor Authority on Feb. 4.

Many locals said the pubs and bars in the area are negatively affecting the quality of life in the neighborhood.

“Vomiting, noise and urinating on doors. Enough is enough,” said lower Manhattan resident, Judy Zabronowski, during the meeting.

Ritchie is in the early stages of launching a pub in TriBeCa that would serve strong ales and British pub food, the Daily Mail reported.

Ritchie had successfully launched a pub in London called the Punch Bowl and will use that as his model for his American pub, the British paper reported.
