MANHATTAN — What do Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein and Barbra Streisand have in common?
They’ve all donated a small portion of their millions — in Trump’s case billions — to New York Attorney General and probable gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo’s campaign, the New York Times reported on Friday.
The latest filing indicated that Trump contributed $6,000 to Cuomo in October, the same month that Weinstein gave him $5,000 and chanteuse Streisand donated $1,000 in November.
Celebrity entertainment lawyer Allen Grubman — father of infamous publicist Lizzy Grubman — gave Cuomo $1,500 and IAC/InterActiveCorp Chairman Barry Diller gave the attorney general $5,000 in December.
Cuomo's campaign has $16 million as of his last filing — that's $13 million more than Gov. David Paterson has.
