MANHATTAN — When the Jets play for a shot at the Super Bowl this weekend, Manhattan’s bar owners will be seeing more green — as in money.

They expect to rake in a lot of extra cash on Sunday, when the Jets take on the Indianapolis Colts for the AFC championship. The game caps a Cinderella run through the playoffs, and Jets fans, a notoriously boisterous bunch, will likely be drinking more than usual.

“Specials? No way. We could double the price,” said Pat Hughes, owner of Landsdowne Road bar in Hell’s Kitchen. “We’re busy for Sunday football anyway. With the Jets, it’s just a lot more fun.”

Tonic, a bar in Times Square, has concocted a “Jets shot” for the occasion.

“Vodka, apple pucker and a little bit of sour mix,” manager Joe Jacobino explained.

And whether Gang Green wins or loses, Jacobino said, he’ll also be “popping champagne behind the bar."

At Down The Hatch in the East Village, manager Jennifer Kay said she’s noticed an added intensity during the Jets’ string of improbably playoff wins. The Jets fans, she said, “are taking it a lot more seriously now.”

Hughes, the owner of Landsdowne Road, said the intensity is wearing off on him. If the Jets make it to the Super Bowl, you won’t find him behind the bar — no matter how busy it is.

“I’m looking for a Super Bowl ticket online right now,” he said. “[If we win] any extra profits will be squandered in Miami.”
