MANHATTAN — Derek Jeter's ready to stop playing the field, it seems.
The Yankee's Captain, and one of Manhattan's most eligible bachelors, is set to marry girlfriend and "Friday Night Lights" actress Minka Kelly at a ceremony in November on Long Island, Newsday reported.
The wedding is supposedly going to take place at Oheka Castle in Huntington, Long Island, on Nov. 5, unnamed sources told Newsday.
That's two days after the World Series is scheduled to end, according to the New York Post.
“This is actually crushing my dreams. When I was little I always dreamed of one day marrying Derek Jeter,” Morgan Bonura, 21, of Manhattan, told AM New York. “Obviously it’s a stretch, but I’m still really sad.”
This is not the first time wedding rumors have swirled around Jeter and Kelly. The Post reported in August the two were secretly engaged.
Kevin Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers, was married at the castle last month.
Jeter's lineup of girlfriends over the years has been legendary, including Mariah Carey, Jessica Beil, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Minnillo and Adriana Lima.
