MANHATTAN — The New York Jets may face a fiercer foe than the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday — Mother Nature.

Snow flurries and a wind chill factor near zero are expected for the 4:30 p.m. kickoff of Saturday’s playoff game at Cincinnati.

The Jets players will have to brave frigid temperatures again in Saturday's rematch with Cincinnati after pounding the Bengals 37-0 in similar conditions at the Meadowlands on Sunday.

"If you want to win games, you've got to win in the cold," Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis told The Associated Press.

The Bengals looked lifeless in the cold weather at Giants Stadium last week.

Cincinnati is expecting three to four inches of snow Thursday, with more on the way on Friday, giving the Bengals valuable practice time in the inclement weather.

"I'm not a fan of the cold, no sir, but I don't mind playing in it," Bengals' player Dennis Roland, one of two players who opted to hit the field in short sleeves despite the low temperature, told the AP.

"I figured that in the game I don't like to bundle up, so I might as well not go out to practice bundled up. Get used to it."

The Jets should be used to the bitter cold by now after a week of frigid temperatures in New York. Temperatures in Manhattan will drop down into the 20s Thursday night and scattered snow showers are expected around midnight.

New York is looking for its first playoff win since beating the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the playoffs in 2004. The Jets have won seven of their last eight match ups with the Bengals, and won the teams’ only playoff meeting 44-17 in the first round of the playoffs on Jan. 9, 1983.
