MANHATTAN — Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger made another safe Manhattan landing. This time on the red carpet.

Sully Sullenberger and his wife were at Lincoln Center on Tuesday night for the premiere of the new documentary about the "Miracle on the Hudson" plane crash.

"It does bring back memories of that day,” Captain Sully told NBCNewYork.com. “But it also brings back a very good memory of a remarkably good outcome so I don't mind at all seeing it again and helping to celebrate its good news."

Sully was reunited with some of the passengers of U.S. Airways flight 1549 and rescuers who came to their aid, just 11 days shy of the one-year anniversary of the famous crash.

"It's great to see some of the passengers again and some of the rescuers. It's just one more chance to celebrate such good news," Sully told NY1.

In the movie, Captain Sully retraces the steps of the plane's flight and splash landing while aboard a helicopter. He also visits the hanger that's storing the remains of the plane.

Sullenberger and co-pilot Jeffrey Skiles successfully landed the Airbus A320 onto the Hudson River after a flock of geese struck the plane's engines, causing them to fail on Jan. 15, 2009. All 155 passengers aboard the plane survived.

Sully and the rest of the Flight 1549 crew were given keys to the city by Mayor Michael Bloomberg for their heroics.

The documentary's name, "Brace for Impact," is based on the final words Sullenberger told the passengers and crew before the plane landed on the icy waters of the Hudson River.

"Brace for Impact" is narrated by Harrison Ford and debuts on TLC this Sunday.
