MANHATTAN — Say it ain't so, A-Rod!
It seems the Yankee slugger has dumped Kate Hudson — his girlfriend and good-luck charm of seven months — after he spent the weekend in Miami cavorting with a different woman every night, according to news reports.
"I'm definitely single," Rodriguez was heard saying, according to Page Six's sources.
A-Rod was spotted at the W Hotel over the weekend, but the "real story is that he was surrounded by girls,” a source told celebrity Web site, Hollywoodlife.com.
“He had his arm around a dark haired woman,” the source said, “he was hitting on different girls at the dinner. He had a lot of fun!”
With A-Rod "acting like a single man" in Miami, Hudson was back in New York promoting her new movie, "Nine," alone.
Hudson, who's had a string of hard-luck romances with bad boys such as Owen Wilson and rocker Chris Robinson, was a fixture at Yankee Stadium during the Bombers run to a World Series Championship. Many Yankee fans believed she revived A-Rod's game as he routinely came through in the clutch, which was unlike him before they started dating.
The break-up leaves Minka Kelly, girlfriend to Captain Derek Jeter, as the sole gal pal with star power in the Yankee clubhouse.
For now, at least. One source tells the Post that Hudson and A-Rod might not be off for good.
"They've definitely broken up," the source said. "There's been some drama before about his roving eye. But this isn't the first time they've split up and got back together."
