Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff's Montauk waterfront home sold for $8.75 million, according to reports.
The 3,014-square-foot house was put on the market late last month. It was part of his property that was seized by U.S. Marshals and put up for sale in an effort to recoup some of the billions of dollars that Madoff stole from his investors.
The buyer's name has not been revealed, but NBCNew York.com reports that the four-bedroom house was purchased late Wednesday night.
