CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded seven people since Monday morning, police said.
• At 1:08 a.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 102nd Street when someone in a red van fired shots.
The man was hit in his left thigh and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
• At 10:48 p.m. Monday, a 27-year-old man was shot in West Humboldt Park.
• At 9:17 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 10300 block of South Aberdeen Street when he heard shots and felt pain.
The man was hit in his legs and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
• At 9:04 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Rogers Park.
• At 2:44 p.m., a 61-year-old woman was shot and seriously wounded in North Lawndale. She was not the intended target, police said.
• At 12:55 p.m., two 25-year-old men were shot on the border of Morgan Park and West Pullman.
• Also, at 9 p.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man was shot in Hermosa, police said. The man was in front of a home in the 2300 block of North Kenneth Avenue when he got into an argument with someone and the other person fired shots.
The man was hit in his leg. On Monday, he took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, police said. He was in good condition.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
