BRONX — A man was killed early Wednesday when his car slammed into a crosswalk pole in the Norwood section, police said.
Kwame Awtwi, of Poughkeepsie, crashed his 2010 Toyota Venza at Jerome Avenue and East Gun Hill Road about 2:20 a.m., the NYPD said.
He was taken to nearby Montefiore Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
