MANHATTAN — A truck shed boxes of broccoli across the Williamsburg Bridge early Monday when its load overturned during rush hour,  officials and witnesses said.

The truck was travelling on the Manhattan-bound side of the bridge about 5:50 a.m. when its load flipped over, fire officials said. The truck itself did not overturn, witnesses said.

No one was injured, FDNY officials said.

It took 20 minutes to clear the load off the bridge back onto the Brooklyn side, said a tow truck driver who moved it.

"Rush hour traffic was the problem," he said.
