MANHATTAN — Charlie Sheen is coming to New York for a close-up appearance just steps from where a drink-fueled rampage provided another turn on the roller coaster that's taken over his life.

His "Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option" show is headed to Radio City Music Hall on April 8, according to the venue's website, just blocks from the Plaza Hotel where a nearly-naked porn star allegedly cowered in a closet as the star went berserk.

The show — tickets for which go on sale Thursday — is the latest leg of a tour that has already sold out in Detroit and Chicago.

Sheen promises fans will "hear the REAL story from the Warlock."

Radio City recommends this show is not suitable for children.

"Will there be surprises? Will there be guests? Will there be mayhem? Will you ask questions? Will you laugh? Will you scream? Will you know the truth?" Sheen asked in a promotional blurb for the show.

"Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me."

Tickets cost between $79.50 and $109; Sheen said $1 from every ticket will go to help victims of the Japanese earthquake.
