WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Police were investigating two uptown murders that left a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old dead early Sunday.

Adionis Santana, 16, was found beaten and stabbed on the corner of West 186th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue shortly after midnight, according to police.

The NYPD said Santana, who lived on 190th Street, had suffered trauma to the head and two stab wounds to his torso and was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In a separate attack, Jonathan Bells, 18, of West 140th Street, was shot in his torso on West 136th Street at Lenox Avenue at 3.10 a.m. He was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
