MANHATTAN — A 66-year-old man died from hypothermia and an underlying disease after he was found on a Manhattan subway platform during the blizzard last Monday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner reported.

The man, whose identity was not released, was found on a subway platform unresponsive and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

A spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said they could not reveal details about which platform the man was found on or to what hospital he was taken.

The New York Times reported that the man was found on the platform of a numbered subway line, but the medical examiner’s office would not confirm that detail.

The MTA said they did not have any information on the death.
