Attorneys for Kenneth Moreno said the convicted ex-cop was forced to spend the night in jail after a judge refused to sign off on his $125,000 bail bond.

An appelate court judge ruled Kenneth Moreno can be released on $125,000 bail pending the results of his appeal.

Prosecutors said police were capable of lying to their bosses, so they could have lied on the stand about the alleged attack.
