Paul DeBenedetto is a reporter/producer for DNAinfo New York covering Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Paul was born on Staten Island, where he attended Wagner College and studied computer science. After graduating, he worked at a brokerage firm for five years before quitting to become a writer.

In December of 2010, he received his masters degree in journalism from the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism, with a concentration in urban reporting.

Paul's work has appeared online for MSNBC.com, WNBC and AOL Patch; in print for City Limits Magazine, the Queens Courier and amNY; and on radio at WBAI.

Fun Fact: Paul thinks thinks Morrissey is cooler than Glenn Danzig, though he recognizes that this is probably an unpopular opinion.
