Punk rock bands and a DJ kick off 2013's first weekend with a "Punk Rock Sock Hop" at the Gutter bar.

Acts include Shady Hawkins (dubbed by the Gutter's Facebook page as "Brooklyn witchxcore"), the local group GLTR PNCH (of the "Trans core revolutionary" genre), and the garage-influenced Amy and the Stiffs. A DJ plays between acts.

Admission is $5 to the show.
