City Council Candidate Ken Biberaj will host a Black History event featuring Governor Paterson, the first African American governor of New York. 

The event is free and open to the public and will be held at Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center at 250 West 65th Street on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. 

The event will also feature a musical trio from Juilliard performing the music of the famed jazz musician Thelonious Monk, a former resident of the Amsterdam Houses.
