Kehilat Orach Eliezer, an open Orthodox minyan on the Upper West Side, will be hosting free services on the Upper West Side for the High Holidays: Rosh Hashanah, Monday Sept. 17 and Tuesday, Sept. 18th, and Yom Kippur, night and day, Tuesday-Wednesday, September 25-26.
No tickets or fees are required for admission.
All services will be at the Youth Hostel, 891 Amsterdam Avenue and 103rd St., on New York City's Upper West Side.
Child care will be available on both days of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur day.
Service times are as follows:
Rosh Hashanah: Services will start at 9:00 AM. Organizers expect to blow shofar around 12:30 p.m.
Yom Kippur night: Services will start at 6:20 PM.
Yom Kippur day: Services will start at 9:00 AM. Yizkor is expected to be reached around 1p.m.
