This hearing will give people from the Community Board 3 area of the Lower East Side, East Village and Chinatown a chance to voice their opinions over the budget recommendations given to city agencies.

Every year community boards are required to submit a list of capital and expense budget priorities to city agencies for example what parks need reconstruction or what social programs are need in the area.
