Before joining the DNAinfo team, Will spent 12 years in the United States Navy where he received all of his IT training.
While in the Navy Will had the opportunity to display his IT troubleshooting skills in many different environments ranging from an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific to the sandy streets of Iraq. All in all Will has served on three US. Navy ships and has done three tours during the Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom campaigns.
Born in the South Bronx and raised between the Bronx and Washington Heights you could say that the streets of New York help to prepare him for anything he would have to face while serving our country. He now hopes to bring the professionalism and attention to detail he gained in the military to become a great success in the civilian chapter of his life.
Fun Fact: Will used to be a known as D-Nato, an underground rapper in the 90’s, and performed with hip hop greats such as Rakim, KRS-1, Big-L and the Black Eyed Peas (before Fergie).
