Editorial Assistant/Admin @margaretbkelly Contact

Maggie Kelly is an editorial assistant at DNAinfo New York.

Maggie was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Walpole, Mass., a suburb south of Boston. She earned a bachelor's degree from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University, where she did coursework in literature and the humanities.

She sojourned in SoHo for a semester before crossing the bridge to Brooklyn, and she's never looked back. She's grateful to have lived in Windsor Terrace, Gravesend, Williamsburg, and Crown Heights, and she currently calls Flatbush her home.

Her previous jobs include assisting the editorial staff of the The Hudson Review on Park Avenue, tutoring Greenwich Village middle schoolers in English and history, nannying on the Upper East Side, and working at an education management company in Midtown East.

Maggie cooks a little, goes to the movies a lot, practices Bikram yoga, and reads novels and philosophy.

Fun Fact: Maggie comes from a family of musical theatre fans, and you can bet your bottom dollar that she can sing every song from at least dozen Broadway scores. Her aunt can't believe that she missed Barbra at Barclay's.
