Man Arrested For Murdering His Wife in Their Brooklyn Home, NYPD Says

By Aidan Gardiner | September 6, 2017 1:30pm

BROOKLYN — A man was arrested for killing his wife in their Flatlands apartment Tuesday night, police said.

Loiseau Desmoulins, 56, killed his wife — whose name wasn't immediately released — who was found lying unconscious with head trauma in a second floor hallway of their building at 3125 Avenue J, near New York Avenue, police said.

It wasn't immediately clear how Desmoulins killed his wife, 63, or what sparked the violence.

Desmoulins was arrested at the apartment and charged with murder, police said.

He was arraigned Wednesday and held without bail, jail records show.

He's due back in court on Sept. 14, records show.

Desmoulins was arrested in 2015, but records for that incident are sealed, an NYPD spokesman said.
