ASTORIA — A man was caught on surveillance video kicking in the door of a woman's apartment in Queens, then taking off with her television, according to the NYPD. 

The burglar entered the building between Broadway and 31st Avenue in Astoria around 5 p.m. on Aug. 3, where video shows him leaping into the air and kicking open the door to a 23-year-old woman's apartment, police said.

Once inside, the man swiped the victim's Samsung television before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 25 years old and was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and jeans.
