MANHATTAN — A man in a black trench coat slashed another man on the E line in TriBeCa Tuesday, according to officials.
The victim was attacked near Canal Street at about 4:46 p.m. and taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition from Sixth Avenue and Broome Street, NYPD and FDNY spokesmen said.
Police described the suspected slasher blue hoodie under his trench coat and green pants.
It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the assault or if it happened on the train or platform.
