MIDTOWN — A construction worker was rushed to the hospital after suffering an electric shock on the roof of a Park Avenue high-rise Tuesday, according to officials.

It was unclear what caused the incident on the roof of 2 Park Ave. near East 32nd Street, according to the FDNY and NYPD. The Department of Buildings said it was looking into the incident.

The worker was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was last listed in critical condition, police and fire officials said.
