WOODSIDE — A trio of bandits in Woodside robbed a cyclist as the victim was pedaling to work, according to a police report.
 
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was riding beneath an underpass near 47th Avenue and 67th Street at about 10 p.m. on June 23 when the muggers snuck up behind him, yanked him off his bike, and put him in a chokehold, police said.
 
The muggers stole the man’s cellphone and a backpack before fleeing, according to a police report.
 
The suspects were described as three men in their 20s. Surveillance footage released by police showed them running in the vicinity of the robbery, according to a police report.
