CHELSEA — A man caught urinating outside a building on Ninth Avenue called a doorman who told him stop an "Uncle Tom" while threatening to beat him up, police said.

The suspect was spotted relieving himself in front of Chelsea Enclave at 177 Ninth Ave., near West 21st Street, around 12:15 a.m. on May 18 by the building's 51-year-old doorman, the NYPD said.

When the doorman told him to stop, the man became “verbally abusive” and forced his way into the building, police said.

“I’m going to f--- you up, you Uncle Tom,” the suspect told the doorman at some point during the incident, according to police.

The man later left the building and had not been arrested as of Wednesday, the NYPD said.

Another doorman working at the building Wednesday evening said he’d heard about the incident from the victim but was not there when it happened.

“He basically said the guy came in and started harassing him,” said the worker, who declined to give his name. “When he called the cops, the guy jetted.”

“He didn’t want to get into details with it. We didn’t take it seriously,” he added.
