Man Shot in Knee on Clifton Place, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man was shot in the knee Thursday afternoon on Clifton Place near Nostrand Avenue, according to authorities.

The 30-year-old victim was walking past 293 Clifton Place at around 1:17 p.m. when the shot rang out and he felt pain in his left knee, police and sources said. 

The victim walked to the corner of Nostrand Avenue where he collapsed in front of a deli, said a police source. He was then taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police recovered two casings at the scene, according to a police source. 

The victim was being highly uncooperative and no suspects had been immediately identified, according to authorities.
