MIDTOWN — Temperatures across the city reached 65 degrees Thursday — shattering the 127-year-old previous record for the date, according to the National Weather Service.
The balmy temperatures were brought on by a warm air mass that moved up from the South, though it was expected to leave the area by nightfall, forecasters said.
