CHELSEA — A masked burglar swiped more than $7,000 in high-end liquor from the strip club Scores, police said.

The thief, who was wearing a mask, opened a garage gate leading into Scores New York at 536 W. 28th St., between 10th and 11th avenues, around 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, the NYPD said.

The garage can only be opened with a key or a remote, and there were no signs of forced entry, police noted.

After entering the club, the male suspect rode the elevator to the first floor, where he took three bottles of “Ace of Spades” champagne worth a total of $1,140 from a cooler and an empty “dummy bottle” of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin Cognac from a Plexiglas display case, the NYPD said.

He then went upstairs to a locked liquor room, opened the door with a key that had been placed on top of a fire alarm box and swiped two bottles of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin Cognac worth a total of $5,290 and two bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label worth $425 and $189 from the room, police said.

The thief left the club through a locked side entrance and fled the venue on foot with a total of $7,044 worth of liquor, police said.

Several cameras at the location caught the thief in the act, but no one had been arrested as of Wednesday, the NYPD said.

Scores New York declined to comment on the incident Wednesday.
