BOERUM HILL — A burglar snatched $2,100 in electronics from popular restaurant Mile End Delicatessen after breaking into the eatery overnight, police said.

The thief got into the restaurant at 97 Hoyt St. by prying open a window with a screwdriver around 4:15 a.m. on Dec. 20, according to a police report.

Surveillance video shows the thief crawling into the restaurant through a ground-level window before rummaging through the eatery’s electronics.

The man can be seen wearing a puffy jacket with a light-colored hood and hat over his head. A scarf covers the bottom half of his face, and a screwdriver and pliers can be seen sticking out of his pants pocket.

The suspect swiped an iPod, two iPad Minis, two Samsung Galaxy tablets, and an iPad Air used to operate the restaurant’s delivery systems, according to police and the restaurant’s managing partner, Joel Tietolman.

"We were burglarized, and the tablets we use to run the various delivery systems were stolen, along with our iPod," he said in an email.

In total, the thief stole about $2,100 worth of electronics, police said.
