UPPER EAST SIDE — A trio of men broke into a Madison Avenue boutique on Christmas Eve and snatched millions of dollars in fur coats, according to the NYPD and reports.

The three suspects got into the Dennis Basso shop at 825 Madison Ave., at East 69th Street, by throwing a stone through the front glass door at 4:49 a.m. on Dec. 24, police said.

The trio grabbed a number of fur coats and stuffed them into a blue 2004 to 2006 Porsche Cayenne SUV before fleeing west on 69th Street, authorities said.

Dennis Basso reps did not immediately return requests for comment Thursday.

Police did not have information about how many coats were taken, what styles they were or the total value of the coats. But the thieves stole millions worth, or about 20 major pieces, according to ABC 7.

Police described the first suspect as wearing a black hooded sweater, a dark-colored coat and black pants. The second suspect was wearing a brown knit cap, a black hooded sweater, a brown jacket and blue jeans. The third suspect was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater and a black coat, police said.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
