THE BRONX — Police want to question a second person in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in May.

Investigators want to quiz Tavon Gillis, 20, about the murder of Brandon Rivera on Crotona Avenue near East 187th Street on May 29 about 1:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the block and found Rivera with gunshot wounds to his shoulder and chest, the NYPD said.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital but couldn’t be saved.

Police charged 28-year-old Efrain Camacho with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon a few days later.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
