THE BRONX — A Bronx man was found dead in a bathtub Saturday night after a homeless man chopped off his penis, according to the NYPD.

Police found the unidentified 68-year-old man inside an apartment at 1348 Sheridan Ave. in Claremont about 8:30 p.m. Friday, laying in the bathtub with his severed penis on the floor, the NYPD said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police arrested Jerry Pagan, 32, and charged him with murder, according to the NYPD.

Pagan, who is homeless, may have attacked the victim over an unpaid debt for sex work, according to the Daily News.
