3 in Custody After Fatal Stabbing of 20-Year-Old Man in Queens, NYPD Says

By Ewa Kern-Jedrychowska | November 30, 2016 1:40pm

QUEENS — Police took three people into custody after a 20-year old man was found stabbed to death in his Richmond Hill home early Wednesday morning, police said.

The suspects — two men, aged 20 and 22, and a 19-year-old woman — forced their way into the victim’s home, on 110th Street near Atlantic Avenue around 2 a.m., authorities said.

Police, who responded to a 911 call of a robbery in progress, discovered the victim, whose name has not been released, with several stab wounds to the lower back. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The suspects, found near the crime scene, have been taken into custody, but have not been charged as of Wednesday morning, officials said.

Police sources said that it appeared that the victim was involved in “selling pills,” and possibly knew the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
