BROOKLYN — An 88-year-old woman broke her wrists when a young female suspect shoved her to the ground outside a Sheepshead Bay deli Friday afternoon, NYPD officials said.

The elderly woman was in front of Esther's Deli at 3664 Nostrand Ave., near Avenue X, when the suspect came up behind her and pushed her to the ground, police said.

The victim broke both her wrists and was treated at Mount Sinai hospital where she's listed in stable condition, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen smiling in surveillance photos released Sunday afternoon, fled the scene and hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.

She was last seen wearing glasses, a gray baseball cap, white T-shirt, beige sweater and brown work boots, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
