BROOKLYN — A man rolled away with a woman's motorized wheelchair in Gravesend Thursday, NYPD officials said.

The man, who can be seen in surveillance photos released Tuesday night, sat in the chair near 86th Street and West 12th Street about 3:40 p.m. and rode off with it, police said.

The chair's owner, a 36-year-old woman, had left it unattended to go into a nearby shop, an NYPD spokesman said. It wasn't immediately clear which one.

The suspect hadn't been caught as of Wednesday morning, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
