EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A stealthy burglar lowered himself through an air vent into a real estate office, packed up a computer and other Apple gear in a cardboard box and snuck off, according to police.

At around 2:17 a.m. on Nov. 3 a thief wearing a beanie and a hoodie was captured on surveillance footage inside the real estate firm Nooklyn's offices at 218 Randolph St., slowly lowering himself down, feet dangling as he tries to reach the ground.

Once the man dropped to the ground, landing on all fours like a cat, he surveyed the office and eventually stuffed a cardboard box with a Apple computer and other Apple gear worth $2,600, police said.

Somehow the thief escaped the premises undetected, but police had no further information about how.

Workers at Nooklyn didn't respond to a request for comment.

Anyone with information can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
