UPPER EAST SIDE — A man in medical scrubs groped a woman's butt while she was standing in line to vote on Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

The 58-year-old victim was waiting in line with the suspect around the corner from P.S. 183, at 419 E. 66th St., which served as a polling site on Tuesday, when the man grabbed her butt from behind, police said.

The man is in his 50s, with salt and pepper hair and stands 5-foot-10 and weighs roughly 200 pounds, police said.

The victim reported the incident at the NYPD's 19th Precinct at 3:30 p.m. the same day. It wasn't immediately clear if she voted before reporting it, authorities said.

Police didn't have more information about what the man said to the victim.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
