NEW DORP — A man stole a wallet from a woman's bag inside a yoga studio, police said.

The suspect walked into 5 Borough Power Yoga, at 176 Rose Ave., on Oct. 15 at 11:30 a.m. and took the 33-year-old victim's wallet out of her bag that was left unattended while she was in the studio, the NYPD said.

The man then left and walked towards New Dorp Plaza.

Police said the bag had several credit cards and $300 cash inside.

The man was described as between 5-foot 9 and 5-foot 11, between 45 to 50 years old and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
