MIDTOWN — A thief stole a $5,000 pedicab when its driver pulled over for a coffee break, the NYPD said.

The 27-year-old driver left his red pedicab outside Angela’s Sandwich Shop at 1428 Sixth Ave., between West 58th and 59th streets, before going inside to get a cup of coffee around 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 28, police said.

While he was drinking his cup of joe inside the shop, someone made off with the pricey pedicab, the NYPD said.

No one had been arrested in connection with the theft as of Monday.
