By Ben Fractenberg | October 25, 2016 6:10pm

THE BRONX — A 220-pound man followed a woman into her Claremont apartment building before throwing her to the ground, stomping on her and then stealing her purse, according to the NYPD.

The 35-year-old woman had just walked through the front door of the building near Fulton Avenue and Crotona Place on Oct. 16 at about 9:35 p.m. when the man followed her inside and assaulted her, video of the incident shows.

The 6-foot, 220-pound man then appeared to grab the woman’s arm and throw her to the ground.

She tried to hit him with her bag and the man then kicked her in the stomach before yanking her bag and cellphone, police said.

The woman suffered bruising but refused medical attention at the scene.

The robber was last seen wearing a red sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.
