LENOX HILL — You're fired — for being too old.

A veteran doorman who worked at one of Donald Trump's buildings for 14 years said he was axed from his job because he was 74 — an age Trump would turn in the White House if he were elected president.

Gus Gennaro, a registered Republican, sued Trump's real estate firm in June 2009 over age discrimination, claiming he was let go from his gig at the Trump Palace in Lenox Hill after his bosses told him that management was "afraid you might get sick" and "a little worried that you might get hurt."

"[Gennaro] was dismissed and his health insurance benefits wrongfully terminated by defendant due solely to his age," the lawsuit says.

Gennaro was hired by the Trump Organization in August 1995, and worked continuously for the firm as a doorman until he was given his pink slip in April 2009, according to the lawsuit.

The Trump Organization settled with Gennaro for an undisclosed amount in December 2009, according to a court filing.

Trump is currently 70. The Republican candidate would turn 74 on June 14, 2020, which, if he were elected commander in chief, would occur in his fourth year in office.

His campaign and his firm, the Trump Organization, did not respond to a request for comment.

Gennaro, who is now 81 and lives in Howard Beach, declined to comment. His lawyer, Paul Kerson, did not respond to requests for comments.
