QUEENS — Investigators are hunting a man they said choked a 51-year-old woman and raped her in Flushing Sunday, police said.

The NYPD released a sketch Monday of the man they said attacked the woman near 60-07 168 St., about two blocks from Kissena Park, about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, a department spokesman said.

The suspect came up behind the victim and put her in a chokehold until she was semi-conscious before throwing her to the ground and raping her, police said.

He then fled the scene west on the Horace Harding Expressway in a dark-colored four-door Honda Civic, police said.

The suspect hadn't been arrested as of Tuesday morning, police said.

He is described as between 35 and 45 years old, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 180 pounds, police said.

He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark jeans, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
