By Aidan Gardiner | October 6, 2016 8:46am

MANHATTAN — A driver was found dead Wednesday night after careening onto a Chelsea sidewalk and hitting three cars, police said.

Roberto Drummond, 48, was heading north in the center lane of 11th Avenue, near 18th Avenue, about 9:15 p.m. when his car veered right and onto the curb where it hit a wooden frame and came to a stop, NYPD officials said.

Drummond's Chrysler 300 then suddenly accelerated north on 11th Avenue and hit a Toyota Highlander and two parked, unoccupied cars, police said.

Drummond, of Flatbush, was pronounced dead at Lenox Health Center, police said.

It was unclear if he died before or during the crash. The Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death, police said. There were no other reported injuries.
