COLUMBUS CIRCLE — A pair of attackers — one wearing brass knuckles — punched and kicked a man on a subway platform before stealing more than $1,100 in cash and belongings, the NYPD said.

The 25-year-old victim, from Manhattan, was standing on an A train platform inside the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station around 5 a.m. Sunday when the two men approached him and knocked him to the ground, police said.

Once the man was on the ground, the two suspects repeatedly punched and kicked him, the NYPD said.

The attackers fled the station on a southbound A train with the victim’s $200 Fossil clutch, $300 Michael Kors watch, $250 bracelet, $30 Apple headphones, his work ID and $350 in cash, police said.

They got away with a total of $1,130 between the man's cash and belongings, the NYPD said.

One of the attackers was described a man in his 30s, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and light-colored pants, police said.

The second attacker was described as a man in his 30s in the same height range as his accomplice who was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, a black long-sleeved undershirt and black pants, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
