Jefferson Market Garden Hosting 'Adopt-a-Pot' Tea Party This Weekend

GREENWICH VILLAGE — The Jefferson Market Garden is kicking off its "Adopt-a-Pot" weekend with a Saturday morning tea party.

Pottery by local artists and Greenwich House Pottery will be for sale all weekend, but visitors can get first dibs on the goods by purchasing a ticket to the Saturday morning tea party.

The party runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with tea and treats provided by Alice's Tea Cup and Mah ze Dahr, the new bakery celebrity chef Tom Collichio is opening on Greenwich Avenue.

Tickets to the tea party are $20 in advance, available for purchase online, or $25 at the door.

Party guests are encouraged to wear hats, and pets are welcome.

All proceeds from the tickets sales and the pottery go to beautifying the garden adjacent to the Jefferson Market Library.
