WOODSIDE — Watch your pockets, straphangers.

A thief stole cash out of a man's pocket at the 52nd Street subway station near Roosevelt Avenue in Queens earlier this week, according to the NYPD.

The male suspect approached the 61-year-old victim from behind as he was walking up the station's staircase just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday and swiped the money out of the man's front pants pocket, police said.

The robber then fled the station with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect is described as a man around 25 years old, standing 5-foot-3 and weighing 160 pounds, with long black hair, police said. He was wearing a black shirt and darks pants.
