BROOKLYN — Three men trying to break up a fight outside a Midwood bar early Sunday were critically injured when two men jumped in and stabbed them, police said.

The trio, who are all related, had stepped between two feuding women outside El Tequilero Nightclub at 1915 Coney Island Ave., near Avenue P, about 4:25 a.m. when two men hopped out of a car and joined the fray, an NYPD spokesman said.

One of the suspects stabbed the three other men, ages 27, 27 and 30, police said. The other suspect then punched and kicked them, police said.

The 30-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach, police said. One of the 27-year-olds was stabbed in the back and the third man was stabbed twice in the shoulder, police said.

They all suffered critical injuries and were listed in stable condition at an area hospital, police said.

The suspects, who are in their early 20s, can be seen in surveillance footage released Sunday by police.

One wore a green shirt, black pants, black sneakers, a black baseball cap and a black backpack, police said.

The other wore a black T-shirt, black sneakers and dark jeans, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
